SVM Microsoft and European Data Protection Supervisor

Description
The Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security / Strategic Vendor Management Microsoft in co-operation with the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) organizes the first meeting of the European software and cloud suppliers customer council.
This meeting is a first step towards a joint European procurement approach to software and cloud suppliers operating in the EU. Topics that we would like to discuss include strategic procurement, privacy, cloud services and data protection impact assessments.

Programme and participants
Within the next few weeks you will receive a detailed programme for the meeting, which will include a debate on Strategic Vendor Management with respect to hyperscalers such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Google.

One of the speakers is Mr. Wojciech Wiewiórowski, the Assistant Supervisor at the EDPS. He will speak about Terms and Conditions and the need for regulatory cooperation.
In addition to yourself and your counterparts responsible for strategic supplier management in other EU member states, EU organisations, NGO’s and other public sector organisations are invited.
